Manchester United New home kit unveiled

United have came out with the latest home kit.

The new Manchester United home kit for the 2010/11 season combines elements of the club’s history with new age technology – as every shirt will be made entirely from recycled polyester, each created from up to eight plastic water bottles as part of Nike’s ‘Considered Design’ programme.

What do you think about the new home kit? I'm thinking to get it into my jersey collection but i need to think twice as i still got last season jersey which i still didn't get it yet from my friend at UK. There will be no more AIG, it gona replaced by AON this season. I hope this bring good luck to United this coming season.

Below were some of the comments from the players.

Red shirt has green benefits

United's new home kit is out and the players are evidently very happy with it...

Gary Neville
"I think the new home shirt looks great and reflects everything that United is about. It is a fantastic bonus that the production of the shirt uses recyclable materials. I really like the idea of it being produced from discarded water bottles, meaning each fan buying a shirt is also helping to lessen environmental impact."

Patrice Evra
"It’s really nice and very comfortable and I hope we can win every trophy in this shirt. I like how Nike have put the word 'believe' on the inside of the crest. You always have to respect the United shirt and I hope we will enjoy a lot of success in this one."

Wayne Rooney
"The feel and comfort is the most important thing about a kit and this one feels good. It’s not tight around the neck, which gives you freedom and I really like the fact it has a collar. I’m looking forward to wearing it and hopefully I’ll score a few goals in it."
